Things to do
There are many attractions and activities located just a short drive from our villa. Some of which are detailed below:
Albena
Albena is the closest resort to our Villa, just 6 kms away. Albena is situated between lush wooded hillsides and a magnificent clean sandy blue flag beach. The beach is almost 7 km long and up to 100 metres wide, sloping gently into the sea. You will find plenty of activities going on, with daytime sports (waterskiing, sailing, banana boats, motor boats, pedaloes, parascending, mini-golf, tennis, bowls), evening entertainment (discos, taverns, bars and restaurants), plus two bazaar-style shopping centres.
Albena is excellent for families with young children as the bathing is safe and there is little or no traffic in the resort.
Golden Sands
Golden Sands is reputedly, one of the world's most beautiful beaches with its sparkling blue sea. There is plenty to do by day or night such as bars, restaurants, bowling alley, casinos and side stalls, and the friendly, relaxing atmosphere makes it just right for a lazy break, too.
Bathe in the sunshine of Golden Sands or check out some of the many shops, snack bars, pavement cafes and stalls selling all kinds of goods and souvenirs throughout the resort.
Varna
Varna is the 3rd largest city in Bulgaria, and is by far the most lively and cosmopolitan atmosphere throughout the coast line. This is due mainly to the fact that it is not just a holiday resort, for tourists, but it is a busy city, with a pleasant mix of both locals and tourists. With this mix of tourists and locals, there is a fantastic environment where neither of the two are out of place. There are lots of bars, restaurants, shops and markets to choose from, all with their own unique friendly atmosphere.
Balchik
Founded in the 6th Century, Balchik is known as the Silver Riviera. In certain lights both the sea and the sand gleam silver, hence the name. This is a traditional Bulgarian coastal shipping town, which has many original features. The shipping brings many visitors to the town, viewing the ships from the harbour, where there is now an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops where visitors can relax, refresh and shop.
